What is green building?  Green building is going above and beyond local building codes to make homes more energy efficient while improving indoor air quality and reducing environmental impact. Most green building techniques are affordable.  There are only two green improvements (in my opinion) that take a long time to recover your investment which are Solar Panels, and Geo Thermal heat pumps,  neither of which are required to build an Energy Star Home or a Healthy Built Home. 

As of June 30th 2009 we are now LEED Accredited.  Also known as LEED AP.  We are the first and only builder in Transylvania County to become a LEED AP.
